Genio `10 competition by Anna Univ-Cbe, drew a decent crowd. The event was a national level technical symposium kinda thing so had pretty decent entries.
Initially not really keen on participating in the competition, a friend of mine and me decided to anyway take a dig at it since we had nothing better to do. Soft skills was what we were so very keen on participating in. But to our disappointment we missed the preliminary round. Anyway we made it through the poster competition(cake walk..lol) then the web designing sucked, knew no head nor tail about it. and yeah so were pretty much jobless..
Following day we started all prepped up for the marketing rounds, little did we know we`d take away
2nd place beating the MBAs der.. woooo... missed out on prize for poster design even though i thought we were good. so what! cant expect everything in life ryt!!! All in all a gr8 time. And not to forget the awesome speech a professor tried hard with his pathetic english ripped from somewer...stammering "hour beloved students" n "Hor-nesty" gosh..had a hearty laugh!!Bottom line- Karunyans rocked!
