I`m an Animal, atleast that`s what i`ve become!!!

A million things to hide a million times i lied,
Not once did i feel ur pain inside.
Made promises to you as i held you tight,
Guilt stealing and killing my sleep tonight.

No dont you leave i know your pissed,
Atleast donot pretend that i don`t exist.
I just throw my hands up in the air!!
This pain is now,   freakin too much to bear!!!

Wait a moment please... as i pen this rhyme,
Hear me out.... just this one last tym.
Answers to your questions... i cannot find,
I`m sorry baby,   but this Love is Blind!

She said,Everytime u look me in the eye,
Something ting-a-ling I felt deep inside.
Heartaches heartbreaks are a prt of lyf,
But what u did to me just wasnt ryt!!

All this pain u`ve caused i cannot mend,
This isn`t how i thought it would end.
The very tought of you makes me sick!
You lied point blank you selfish prick!!!

The small little moments.. that said you cared
The talks through the night, the lovely walks we had.
U killed it all.. dun wanna know why
Cried my heart out..till eyes went dry.

Wait a moment please... as i pen this rhyme,
Hear me out.... just this one last tym.
U`d love me forever.. with a kiss, you lied,
Tryin to get over u,   but this Love is Blind!

Operation Geronimo- The way I see it.

The Evening on the 2nd of May 2011, as I was travelling in the train back home I saw the picture of Osama bin Laden on the front of the newspaper, the first that rushed to my head was “DAMN !” Could the US have really pulled this off? And how they even manage this on Pakistani soil? Was he betrayed? I could not wait to get back home and get a load of the entire story and the sequence of events. The following days news had it all, right from the images of his mansion to the way the operation was carried out. People in the U.S were celebrating the death of the man who traumatised the world with 9/11. Osama Bin Laden, leader of the Al Qaeda, the feared international organisation had the entire world trembling with the attack. Definitely there was a sense of joy in me that even it took 10 years he was done! His methods of motivating young vulnerable and innocent youth into terrorist activity, while in his will barred his own children from doing the same. If this truth had to be told to all the young men and women who are brainwashed in the name of jihad we would probably not have so many maniac self bombers. This is the situation that needs to be nipped in the bud. However it was a blow to terrorism and questioned Pakistan`s efforts to counter terrorism, something India has been stressing for a while now but the US never took seriously.
Then slowly I was filled with thoughts of how Saddam Husain was caught. America bought his close aide and promised to secure his family and bathe him in riches in return for Saddam. The man was a tyrant no doubt but he preferred to be hanged without a hood, staring at death without fear. I don’t consider him a good man but when America realised they could not break his spirit they decided to resort to torture in the prison. They could not get to him; they had him sold to them. The aftermath of that invasion of Iraq still brings up the question- Did America invade Iraq because of the injustice people faced, because now the situation is worse ten-fold, or to meet their own selfish agenda? With the oil wells bombed by the people there was zero return in developing a poor nation.
Operation Geronimo i.e. Operation to capture or kill Osama bin Laden was approved by the President of the United States, Barrack Obama. There are several reasons that operation Geronimo was carried out.
·         Obama`s popularity decline. From a splendid orator came a promise of change, but people could not see the miracles they expected when Obama was elected to power. He needed a major sensational come back to win over the people.
·         Can`t deliver on promise to bring back troops. Obama had promised the pull out of troops from Middle East but the Last time only reduced the numbers to send them back. Now the cause is justified with the killing of Osama.
"The world is watching, keep your eyes open"If we`re done with the drama can we sleep now?"

Osama was like a fading star, As much as America wanted him alive, I would believe they still have kept him alive- whether a friend or a foe. He is an asset to them anyway.
·         Losing the favour at the senate, Pakistan is a wrong investment, unfruitful. But they need Pakistan as a launch pad for any attack on oil rich countries. Now the investment in Pakistan to fight terror is also justified. On the pretext of recovering Pakistan billions are squandered harbouring terrorism possibly with the US knowledge, it creates a fear in the world, America plays superman with getting Osama- Win Win. Diversion from unemployment and economic issues Obama can’t possibly handle.
·         India is a strategic partner-the US wants to get back the power in Asia that currently china dominates. It needs India for such strategic alliance, even at the cost of Pakistan which it considers a liability. Even for economic recovery through business deals that Obama promised would provide employment.  “100,000 jobs in one day” however recent developments have changed that. US would do anything to portray themselves as a friend of India.
Pakistan is a market for arms and weapons export- F16, Guns and grenades and Nukes.

The questions:
    1.       Pakistan abbotabad province is home to its best army training academy, Former officials and defence personnel live in the frontier region. How come Pakistan dint know?

a.       They probably did, however they wanted to exchange this intelligence with US for something in return.
b.      The Taliban was in control of more than half Pakistan, they were at the brink of a civil emergency crisis. Mussharaf forced to resign by common public out roar. Then came Benazhir Bhutto`s assassination (claimed by Al Qaeda) and the change in power. Terrorism thrives again, with 26/11.
c.       The US, gains the intelligence with Pakistan, before or after Pakistan already knew it, then decides to play superhero at the cost of relations with Pakistan. First claims that this was entirely a US op, and then the embassy talks about a common objective. Pakistan first denies any role in the mission then claims it provided the intelligence. Murky waters yet, the US invaded Pakistan`s territory carried out a 40 minute operation without giving them a hint that they were there. Then buried Osama at Sea.

2.       The Burial of Osama was carried out at sea in an unusual hurry.
a.       The US claims it dint want anyone to find the body. Others would be other countries, other expert forensic teams, and the other terrorist themselves. Was it because they have kept him alive.
b.      Their claim was that other terrorist would use the body to make it a shrine or a symbol of martyrdom and justify terrorism. Really? And they claim to be reasonably intelligent!
c.       Why bury him at sea?- no trace (if the us has precision with 10 years of intelligence, they would even plan the ways to not leave trace of the body, Navy ships coordinate history could be used to track position and fish the body if needed.
d.      We know the US for years now. (If they bomb Japan with Atom bombs then blame Iran for making some undercover)-They would never kill an unarmed Osama, a dead terrorist has achieved his target of not giving out information. Killed he is a dead man alive he is a source of information. If the US is wise enough, they would choose the later.
e.      Osama was treated in US military hospitals in Egypt, can we miss that? Not to mention he studied in the US too. Came to be popular after 9/11, mystery still surrounds whether the attack on twin towers was state sponsored.
Children around claimed they met Osama, which disposes the claim of Pervez Mussharaf saying even the people dint know about Osama, How could Pakistan Army figure out i.e. they dint know he was there. Mussharaf is a mere puppet of the US who is comfortably sitting in the UK, scared to live on his own soil.
Osama was said to be living with his favourite wife and his children since 2005, and at the time of the op, his family was in one of the two mansions on the 2nd and 3rd floors. He was shot twice once in the head above the eyebrow then in the chest.
·         No pictures released by the US yet. Surprising since they thought they could convince the world with a quick burial for whatever reason. They say the pictures are too disturbing and America refuses to show the images of Osama to the world, if they had them I’m pretty sure they would be on wiki-leaks by now.
·         Where are the children? Navy Seals kill them too? Fear Wrath of people for killing children or they weren’t even there?
·         They first claim he was using arms for defence, and then they say he was unarmed. Which is true? If they possibly claim the gunman who shot him dint see clearly- how come he shot him in the chest and the head- two points the armed forces uses in shoot to kill terrorist all over the world with precision.
·         Can we ignore the fact that one of the two women who was shot in the leg and was claimed to be his wife is not yet seen or identified by name. She had supposedly identified the body.  If she is detained could it be possible she is also a part of this conspiracy to just keep her husband alive at any cost.
·         They lights were blacked out when the operation took place. One chopper mysteriously crashed in the compound. Pakistani soldiers came to the neighbouring houses and detained people and confiscated memory cards and video/image capturing devices.
·         People heard choppers; nobody saw what happened inside the 18 feet walls, even the president’s office claims that they did not actually see the gunman shoot Osama. The slight footage of Seals climbing stairs, but no video of the encounters with the inmates of the mansion.
·         His mansion was blood stained and broken down, how difficult is that to fake? Deliberate attempt to release pictures of WAR room of Prez Obama, the claims of DNA match and supposed wife identifying body, contradictory statements and fast burial are signs of desperation from the US. What are they trying to hide???
If history has though us well, the US strives on opportunity. They calculate every step only to take themselves forward and reap the gains. With analysing all the above I personally feel they had to make this operation happen and did it well to make it look real and they might have Osama but they have not killed him.
He`s is a valuable asset to the US- Friend or foe.

The Last 24 Hours..

My notes are lying open in front of me, it`s my favourite subject tomorrow!!I decided to do well in this one, but I’m staring at Swami Vivekanada`s poster!! First, I try to make sense of the quote below, and then I remember Vinay in his usual 'pose', and another brilliant line of humour! Then the entire gang screams out Mokkai!!! A small smile breaks the boredom!! A buzz from the phone and a message that I probably dint expect. It’s long and lengthy.. Read it once it gets you emotionally, the second time you try to understand it and by the third time, tell yourself you won’t let this break you!! Study or simply dream for a while??? Obviously study, but after sometime.. :P
Just to make things worse the ‘music maestro’ of the class is playing out ‘Yeh Pal’ from the first Indian Idol!!! Damn it... I give up!! Dive back into time, back to the first day when the journey in college started... not very fond memories... first day silent weeping into my plate in the mess... tears actually made the sambar not so alien to a goan- I had more things troubling me than hostel food.
The first few months in class sitting alone in a corner, I would stare out of the window- Why God, why did I ever choose this place? Today I ask for another 24 hours just to spend every moment of it with the persons who have probably changed my life, and to some extent even changed the person I am.

Chukka`s attempts at adventure and adrenalin rush, Vinay and how he wants to be the ‘Anna Hazare of Bihar’not to forget the PJs, Ashima- the world is against me..urghhhh so many annoying things, Steve- single and his seriousness with studies, Shal -his laptop and his girlfriend, Scientist Rajdeep-breaking and fixing every electrical component on campus!!! Alisha- I can be a sweetheart 24x7 for 365 days a year as long as everyone calls me CUTE !! Magiiiiii.......... POSE, POSE, POSE, POSE and wait....... heyyy, POSE again!! :P and me- well I was the most annoying one (just being modest here, can`t praise myself ryt?)
Well if that wasn’t enough I am suddenly remembered about all the times we got chucked out of class, gosh, we actually miss that!! Weekend getaways and cooking together. Eat outs where every penny is equally divided even at KFC-2. The night adventures bursting crackers and looting the “treehouse”, stealing sugarcane, sometimes just wandering at midnight like we own the place. AND LOADS n LOADS of PICX!!! You could say our clique is self obsessed!!
As my mentors here put it, ‘You`re steeping into the world Chris, Take care of yourself my Child’ I feel like I’m suddenly gonna be alone in the battles to come my way. And yes I am gonna miss that preferential treatment a lot, I openly admit! By the end of fourth year, I like everyone else had to admit that however much I cursed this place it has given me irreplaceable memories, friends to die for, complicated relationships and hell lotta fun!! I refuse to think how the next 24 hours would end because after four years-It’s difficult to not walk into a dirty room or sleep on a pile of clothes. Those moments might never come back.

Moving on is good, but leaving a beautiful life you so got used to, can be heart breaking!!

Some of the best memories I can take back with me!

YOU BE THE CHANGE!!!

* The President of India DR. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam 's Speech in Hyderabad . *

Why is the media here so negative?
Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements? We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse acknowledge them--- Why?

We are the first in milk production.
We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.
We are the second largest producer of wheat.
We are the second largest producer of rice.
Look at Dr. Sudarshan , he has transferred the tribal village into a self-sustaining, self-driving unit.

There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters.

I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper. It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place. The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid and a granary. It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to. The gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news.

In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime.

Why are we so NEGATIVE?

Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things? We want foreign T. Vs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology.

Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance? I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is. She replied: I want to live in a developed India . For her, you and I will have to build this developed India . You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.

Do you have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance.

Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is yours.
YOU say that our government is inefficient.
YOU say that our laws are too old.
YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.
YOU say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke,
The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.
YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.

YOU say, say and say. What do YOU do about it?

Take a person on his way to Singapore . Give him a name - YOURS. Give him aface - YOURS. YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International best. In Singapore you don't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores.... YOU are as proud of their Underground links as they are. You pay $5 (approx. Rs. 60) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim Causeway or Pedder Road ) between 5 PM and 8 PM. YOU come back to the parking lot to punch your parking ticket if you have over stayed in a restaurant or a shopping mall irrespective of your status identity... In Singapore you don't say anything, DO YOU?

YOU wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai .

YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered in Jeddah .

YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at 10 pounds ( Rs.650) a month to, 'see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else.'

YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop,'Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost.'

YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New
Zealand .

Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo ? Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston ??? We are still talking of the same YOU.

YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground. If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India ?

Once in an interview, the famous Ex-municipal commissioner of Bombay , Mr. Tinaikar , had a point to make. 'Rich people's dogs are walked on the streets to leave their affluent droppings all over the place,' he said. 'And then the same people turn around to criticize and blame the authorities for inefficiency and dirty pavements. What do they expect the
officers to do? Go down with a broom every time their dog feels the pressure in his bowels? In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job. Same in Japan . Will the Indian citizen do that here?' He's right. We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility.

We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin.

We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.

We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity.

This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public. When it comes to burning social issues like those related towomen, dowry, girl child! and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse?

'It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my sons' rights to a dowry.' So who's going to change the system? What does a system consist of ? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU.

When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr.Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away. Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system. When New York becomes insecure we run to England . When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out
to the Gulf. When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government. Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country. Nobody thinks of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money.

Dear Indians, The article is highly thought inductive, calls for a greatdeal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too.... I am echoing J. F. Kennedy 's words to his fellow Americans to relate to Indians.....

'ASK WHAT WE CAN DO FOR INDIA
AND DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO MAKE INDIA
WHAT AMERICA AND OTHER WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE TODAY'

Lets do what India needs from us.

Social Media Marketing

Using this already available 'Global Reach' of social networking sites to generate a potential market is what is Social Media Marketing. While social networking sites manage your accounts and data for free, they charge advertisers for the small ads you see on every page and this generates revenue for the site thus functioning like any other business organisation. Though other sources of income are also available, ads and promos contribute to major of the sites revenue. With so much money involved we wanna know HOW EFFECTIVE THIS MARKETING METHOD is amongst the people?

Food for Thought!

Things get weird and messy just when you least expect them to. Just when you know you going good everything seems alright, that`s probably when we are most vulnerable!! And life pulls the carpet beneath your feet and your before you know you are “fucked”!! but how you pick yourself up, beats the blues and still stand tall, is what defines who you are and what you`re made of.
There are a million distractions in life, a zillion problems to deal with-How we approach each of these problems? Do we carry the right attitude?
Theoretically people can give you hours of motivation and talk on “failures are stepping stones to success” but you need to feel the heat to finally beat it!! And come what may- NEVER NEVER EVER GIVE UP!!
Only when you go through the grind of successive failure that it will make you stronger. I embarrassed myself in front of an auditorium of thousands while delivering my speech for ‘Teen Of the Year 2009’ in Mumbai. A blank screen blinded by camera flashes and an auditorium full of people from every nook and corner of the country. For a moment i thought, “Why now God? Why now???”, took a deep breath and carried on! I dint win the competition but from that day on i am a winner coz it helped improve my oratory skills ten fold.
The key to success as my father puts it, is to visualize yourself there, doing it. (my perv friends, this refers to a achieving your goal !! ) it kind of helps getting mentally ready for the final ordeal.
You might have failed a ninety nine times so did Edison and all the other super-talented people to get that victory at 100 you need to try harder and sincerely with giving your best shot at every effort! You will be a winner. You Can Be The Change !
